It all depends on what version of the game you have. I think for PAL, it has multiple languages to choose from. Only use game_usa.szp for the NSTC version, and the game.szp for the Japan version.

Sure, if you are only going to choose English in the language selector. For PAL, you don't need to bother with game_usa.
