I've been attempting to extract the contents of Jailnit.aaf. Anyone know of a tool I could extract and re pack the contents of It?

It would be useless trying extract contents of Jailnit.aaf because well, it just stores names and probably MIDI sequence for music you can always look up at the internet and listen. (I don't have clue of what that file is really used for though.) Or if you're trying originally to extract the game's sound effects, it's not stored at the Jailnit.aaf file, it's stored at the .aw soundbanks. It's pretty rare but there is a tool called "wwdumpsnd" that you can find a site that haves some audio-related tools for Nintendo GC and Wii games (I don't remember much of that site though, just search for the tool name and it'll probably come up). It dumps the audio effects directly from the soundbanks and also using Jailnit.aaf.

I know this thread is old butyou can extract the file using a special program, you can extract it. www.hcs64.com/in_cube.html All you have to do is get a backup copy of Luigi's Mansion and dump the audio directory using a program like GC-Explorer and grab all the files (without bring in sub directories, everything needs to be in one spot.) and run the program on the JaiInit.aaf file. (Source for extacting: www.freewebs.com/luigisbiggermansion/) As for repacking them, you cant at the moment.
