would anyone happen to know what file in the LM rom holds the colors for the speech boxes and how I can edit them or if its even possible?

They're auto colored. You go to the event files and the tag for the speech bubbles is <WINDOW> and the color value is the middle one (I think...)

EDIT: Same thing for choice, they always come out as green and you cant edit their color by simply doing that. Any other way you know of doing it?
Really the only one I want to change is the one used for choosing stuff from green to red for my Mario's Mansion project.

The head icon in the first value. I think. The last value is what line in the csv the text box reads.

What about the one used for choosing something (which is green) it has so color value...I think.

The color for the choice menu is picked by the window that's opened before it. Like the window opens the color is green then it adds a choice tag to the window in the next line.

wait what in event 3 you can clearly see that the textbox color before choice is toads textbox color. I don't think this is right

All you have to do to edit an event is unpack it. Then edit text.txt
